I had just gone in to check on the egg's. One of the shipped one's have made a little chip in it's shell. I marked my shipped egg's with an "S", so I could keep track of them. I have some of mine in there too, you know.

Not sure how many of you have heard this Sailor folklore before.
RED SKY IN THE MORNING,,, SAILOR WARNING.
RED SKY AT NIGHT,,, SAILORS DELIGHT.
Let us know how true the Sailors Folklore pans out tomorrow.
That's great!Well, now 7 chick's have hatched, and I'm still waiting on 2 more egg's to hatch from this batch.
Actually I found this thread with someone else asking for what price to sell these at, so I'm watching it to get an idea. I think that these should go a bit more then some of the other breed's since they are an auto-sexed breed, and since you can tell the girl's from the boy's at hatch you can guarantee the pullet's in a sale for those that can't have a rooster.Yes you need to raise your prices for sure. Even with the drive your birds are worth it!
I think you chose a great breed to concentrate on. And worth a bit of a drive for many since it's hard to come by evidently - great news!Actually I found this thread with someone else asking for what price to sell these at, so I'm watching it to get an idea. I really like this breed too. They are much easier to work with then some of the other breed's that I have had in the past.. I don't free-range mine though so I don't know how well that they do in that aspect.I think you chose a great breed to concentrate on. Is the feed bucket contraption where they stick thier head into the bucket thru sort of a pipe?I really like this breed too. I also love this feed bucket contraption. I can fill it up and it last's them for several day's, and there is much less feed waste. If one of them happens to get a little messy with it, one of the other's will get whatever fall's out to the ground right away. I do have another one of those feed bucket kit's as an extra stored, so I already have it if I need it later.
