What a sunset we just had!

That sunset should indicate a good day tomorrow.
Not sure how many of you have heard this Sailor folklore before.

RED SKY IN THE MORNING,,, SAILOR WARNING.:(
RED SKY AT NIGHT,,, SAILORS DELIGHT. :thumbsup

Let us know how true the Sailors Folklore pans out tomorrow:frow.

I woke up this morning to 2 female Bielefelder's from the shipped egg's that are fluffed up. There are a couple more egg's in there that have the little chips in the shell. I didn't sleep well last night, and kept waking up. I just got up a bit ago, and am having my coffee. I'll take pictures later.

Yes you need to raise your prices for sure. Even with the drive your birds are worth it!
Actually I found this thread with someone else asking for what price to sell these at, so I'm watching it to get an idea. I think that these should go a bit more then some of the other breed's since they are an auto-sexed breed, and since you can tell the girl's from the boy's at hatch you can guarantee the pullet's in a sale for those that can't have a rooster.

I think you chose a great breed to concentrate on. And worth a bit of a drive for many since it's hard to come by evidently - great news!

I really like this breed too. They are much easier to work with then some of the other breed's that I have had in the past.. I don't free-range mine though so I don't know how well that they do in that aspect.

I also love this feed bucket contraption. I can fill it up and it last's them for several day's, and there is much less feed waste. If one of them happens to get a little messy with it, one of the other's will get whatever fall's out to the ground right away. I do have another one of those feed bucket kit's as an extra stored, so I already have it if I need it later.

Is the feed bucket contraption where they stick thier head into the bucket thru sort of a pipe?
