It's not just intended for things like avocados and bananas that are peeled, but also fruits you don't peel -- strawberries, grapes, apples, etc.No, I had not. They probably figure that you won't be eating the peel anyways. They do seem to be trying hard to alter our food though in many ways.

Hope it's only going on things you throw the peel away on. I already get grumpy because cucumbers are coated in thin wax...I know it keeps them edible longer but there's an awful lot of nutrition in those peels and I can't find a way to wash it offHas anyone else heard of this? I may be late to the party but am just learning about produce starting to be coated, complements of Bill Gates, with bad crap that -- by the company's own bragging -- cannot be washed off. It is called Apeel, and produce proudly bears a sticker with its name.
Here's more.
As stated above by @Happy Novogens it will also be on fruits like strawberries, grapes, apples, and such.Hope it's only going on things you throw the peel away on. Editing to add I just read it's for use on things you eat the peel. That's horrible
I might need more garden spaceIt only get worse...
"Many other fruits and vegetables including tomatoes, leafy greens, cucumbers, raspberries, as well as citrus can use the Edipeel coating, with undoubtedly more produce being added in the future."
Some of the stores that are (or will be) carrying it include Sprouts, Walmart, Trader Joe's & Target (among others).
You and me both!!I might need more garden space
Good reminder! We were just talking about that this morning (hubby & I).Since the monsoon is starting, start collecting up any rain water that you can and might need for later.
