Arizona Chickens

Mosquitoes are alive and plentiful in my area every summer. I of course always try to avoid breeding spots, by emptying any spot/container, ETC. of any standing water.
The Township sprays some Pesticide,,, but only about twice each year,,,,,, and usually associated with Holiday dates... This way peeps can enjoy their BBQ's without being eaten. :gig

To be able to eat without being eaten is a good thing.
 
Ouch! One of the Bielefelder hen's layed this today.

Wow! My Bielefelders lay just medium size eggs.
That egg was from one of my hen's from last year that recently finished her molt. If she was trying to lay one bigger then that ceramic egg in that nesting box, she succeeded. :gig
