Hello, and welcome to our AZ. Thread! I hope that you will be able to find a good home for your boy if someone needs a rooster like yours. I already have 2 rooster's, and they get along well.I'm in Arizona too, up in the Catalina Mountains area at about 4500 elevation so I don't have to deal with the heat but I have an automatic water-er and shade cloth on the top and the side for the afternoon heat. I also will occasionally mist the ground which they really seem to like.

I've tried using it to keep ants out. It only kinda worked. It needs to be reapplied whenever it gets wet.Does anyone use Diatomaceous Earth with their chickens?
How much protein is in it?It's 32.50 for a 50 pound bag... they are looking for other distribution points to make it easier on people. Oh, it also includes the oyster shell so it's all the inclusive. I have 18 including my rooster..
