Does anyone have a young, smallish, sweet tempered laying hen who looks like this, that they'd be willing to part with?

It looks like an Easter Egger. Whatever it was mixed with, it has a pretty small comb on it, so it might not do well in the hot summer heat.Does anyone have a young, smallish, sweet tempered laying hen who looks like this, that they'd be willing to part with?

Good luck in finding one that looks like her. I have different colored pullets, but they are all leghorns. I'm still waiting for them all to start laying eggs. Leghorn's are good layers once they start laying. We're trying to find a buddy for our EE. We have three EEs but the other two are golden.
She's the only one in our flock who doesn't have someone who looks like her and I think that's one of the reasons she was bullied. We'd like to find her a friend.
You're right, she doesn't like the heat at all (like me!) but she does fine as long as she has an ice block to stand on.
It's a long shot but I thought I'd try! We're not in a rush to find one.Good luck in finding one that looks like her. I have different colored pullets, but they are all leghorns. I'm still waiting for them all to start laying eggs. Leghorn's are good layers once they start laying.
I know what you mean. I'm still looking trying to find some Buff Leghorn's. I already have the Brown Leghorns, Silver Leghorns, and some of those Blue Gold Duckwing Leghorns. That gives me a colorful enough flock and I didn't have to mix up different breeds to get it.It's a long shot but I thought I'd try! We're not in a rush to find one.
I had no idea there were so many leghorn variations! Please post some more photos when you have a chance.I know what you mean. I'm still looking trying to find some Buff Leghorn's. There are breeders that are working on them. I didn't want the white leghorns, nor the black leghorns. My blue gold duckwing ones came from a breeder here in byc as hatching eggs.I had no idea there were so many leghorn variations! Please post some more photos when you have a chance.
Did you get some eggs from the Moonshiner??I know what you mean. I'm still looking trying to find some Buff Leghorn's.
