Arizona Chickens

City Farm up to or just below your knee. I will make sure and look closer at the biggest Nigerian Dwarf and make sure. Some are smaller then others. We have both parents.

I have a dog larger than that! I was curious, what do you use from the goats...milk, etc. I don't know anything about goats. I've heard goat milk is good for you, then there's goat cheese and so forth.

I love goat milk, as long as there are no bucks around. Their stink messes up the milk. I had a friend that had 2 very handsome bucks. She bathed them every day so she could use the milk.

oh no. i have 2 dozen MORE silkies coming. not eggs, but chicks! i am soooooooo dead.

:he my transmission just whent out. I called AAA, I told them: I am on I-17 southbound , south of Old Black Canyon City Rd and north of Table Masa Rd. I am 9.8m month of Anthem Market Place, 4.5 miles south of Old Black Canyon Hwy where it joins I-17. Nearest city is Black Canyon City, 4.5 miles behind me.

It took over 25 minutes to get my location. Was I not clear? I don't understand. Now there is an accident up a head, I'm still waiting, it is going to be a long evening. My girls are going to miss their evening snack. Now I hope the tow truck will take me home after dropping my car off. If he comes at all..:fl

That is no fun :( If you need the number to a good mechanic please let me know, my dad has a shop in Glendale. He does warranty work and out of warranty work and always has the best price around. Hope you get it all sorted out.

No she moved,

I'm still here on I-17, just got a call, 20 min. Out. Thank God I have my little friend, for some reason I usually have 5 but I took my 6. Setting in the dark on the side of the Interstate.

Spent about 3 hours cleaning out the coop and the two grow out pens. I was so happy to take a shower after that.

I've really got to start figuring out which of the polish are roos and which are pullets. I can tell that at least 6 of the 14 are roos, jury is out on the rest. Of my Icelandics, I know for certain that two are roos. A white one and a black one with mottling on the breast. Jury is still out on the others.
I have one pullet that is a Phylis clone and the other is an Ida look alike, only with a crest.

Ida has abandoned her brood and is laying again already. I'll bet she goes broody again shortly!
Blucy is doing a great job with her brood of three (one of the blue Ameraucanas died)

Also my Icelandic hen "Goldie" is going to pass, her comb turned light and she went down hill from there. All of the others in the big coop look just fine. I guess I need to worm and re-dust for the next two weeks.

#4 & #5 are camping in the COLD mountains tonight with their scout groups. The house almost seems empty with just #6 & #7.

Weather today was GORGEOUS! Highs are forecast at 77 degrees for the next five days. A welcome change from the extreme cold of last week. Iv'e got to get my winter garden planted tomorrow. I'll be putting in seeds of peppers, beans, peas, corn, cucumbers and squash.

Have a great Saturday my friends!!!

I've got to figure when I can do a chick exchange with Pam out in Queen Creek.
