Question for you Silkie fans...How high up and down do Silkies jump and fly safely? Partridge has jumped out the coop door the last two days. I think it's about three feet high, but she seems just fine. I wasn't home when she did it, so I haven't seen it happen. I just want to make sure she'll be ok. I think she's about fourteen weeks.

I will let you know if a shot is needed. You have had good practice. Had a tetanus shot last year so hopefully I am good.

My older silkie girls jump down in the middle of their ramp around 14" to 18". Haven't seen them jump from the door.

From what I understand they do not fly like the other chickens. But what do I know, only had them since July..
Our rooster kent took a flying lep towards our neighbors little girl.. She was moving to fast for his likes..
He gets about 2 1/2 feet .. Maybe a little higher..
