Arizona Chickens

Quote: Yea, I know Vampire are not in North America. People are far to fast to yell rabies about a lot of animals. My mother used to tell me that they had rabid squirrels in the park when she was a kid but it is almost impossible for rodents to have rabies.Squirrels carry tetanus tho. Cats seldom gets rabies but can.
My favorite bat is the fruit bat and the fox. It looks like a little tiny dog!

Well, I had a very productive day today! With the current sale prices at Sprouts, I was able to make two batches of salsa and I'm finishing up a batch of mild Ro-Tel. There will be a batch of medium Ro-Tel tomorrow morning. For salsa, I ended up with 27 pints that I processed, 2 pints that were not processed, and a 60 ounce container for immediate use. The two pints are going over to a friend's house tomorrow night and the container is for us to eat this week. There ended up a total of 15 half-pints of Ro-Tel. All in all, I spent about 72c a pint on salsa and the RoTel came out to about 72c each. The RoTel came out more expensive than what I buy it for on sale, but only by about 3c. The salsa, well, you can't touch a pint of salsa for that cheap if you stole it off of a bumm streetwalking down central...

And the best part is that it all tastes far, far better than store-bought!

The Recipes:
Belle Adorn Salsa
Home Canned Ro-Tel

Happy canning!!!

I post them on Craigslist for free, and everyone who has ever picked one up has always promised that they'll give them a lovely home out in the country. I'm sure that what they really mean is this:

Lmao! Well, at least you know that they're probably lying to you... Vincent, the guy that took our dogs and said he'd probably drop off the fifteen chickens... I told him straight up, any I don't want or don't like would go to Camp Freezer. And all the roosters were headed straight there, anyway. Guess that's probably why I haven't heard from him yet...

That bat looks like someone stopped mid-autopsy and left the building! That is downright hideous. That's a face only a mother can love... Thanks for the photo, though! It's always fascinating to see those abnormal creatures. Like the blob fish or smooth lumpsucker...

And they say aliens aren't real or that we haven't had an alien encounter...

Here is my Serama Chicks! Have 3 eggs left but hold no hope. Love the colors but have no idea what they will be! The last picture. Toy Boy and Holly Berry have been moved outside now awaiting these little ones to form their flock. I may keep two girls inside tho! Toy became to loud in his crowing for others that live in the house.

Awwwwwww!

Oh, and a question for all you gardeners... Now that the dogs are gone, my wife wants her garden even more. What is a good size to start with? It'll be a raised bed, along the pool fence. That'll allow me to easily put in a trellis for vine plants. I was thinking 2'x6'?
