Arizona Chickens

I culled Button this morning. She looked pretty bad last night and very lethargic this morning. She could barely stand. I did it before I woke my daughter. I'll tell her tonight. She'll probably be ****** at me because she didn't get to say goodbye.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I thought it was looking up a bit from the post the other day. Your daughter will understand eventually. It's an excellent lesson in life, albeit not an easy one. Hugs from all of us!

I came a cross a shocker yestorday, can't remember ware it put it, when i find it again i will post a picture. My dad, being an inventer, gave me a devise made from a model T altranater. Plug it in and flip a switch and you get a shock. . . Or the animal gets one. Volts, no amps. It was first used to teach squeals not to get into the bird feeder, to to teach a cat not to kill my budgies. At one time I had someone trying to get in my house at night. I hooked it up to the door nob and the window. That was the last time he tried to force open my window. It is not good to leave it on, mostly old technology. Draw back you have to be there.

This gave me the idea, I do not have the knowledge to build it but! :D I bet some one out there dose. That mental grid is perfect. I can picture a coyote digging down and getting a hot foot when he completes the circuit. :lau I know that's evil. But it wouldn't take long to figure out 'chickens hurt'. I do not think you can use an electric fence wire. Can anyone tell me? I will do some research later on it. Mt block goes down 4" to 6", that is ok for foundation, but as pointed out not against digging coyotes. Coyotes in AZ is like mites, lice on chickens, and worms on/in chickens, It not if but when. Not really a problem if you take precautions.

Will that reminds me, I have work to do and not getting it done, time to clean the coop.

]storage, can't afford it. I have a couch and two recliners I have to get rid of. The couch is like new but way to big. the matching recliners are white and need cleaning. I kept the couch covered the whole time I used it. No one has been interested. I will have to call Goodwell to pick it up.

don't know what else to do. Can't use it, can't sell it, one option left. My nephew said I should burn it or send it to the dump it is so ugly.
Put it on Craigslist and it will sell in a flash!
