Arizona Chickens

I have 4 commercial leghorn-ish chicks hatched from fertile Trader Joe's eggs for sale. They are St. Run, and 1 week old. Asking 3$each.

Also 3 orpington / F1 olive Egger chicks 3$
I can deliver in the west valley

Seems I have too many birds again (what else is new) and the fireman is silently displeased. What do I have, you may ask? Well..........an incubator FULL of all sorts of goodies and an empty one waiting for more to arrive.

Quote: Blue is pretty easy to breed out. If you do not see it, it isn't there, and 50% will not inherit the blue. The birds I mentioned I am asking $10 for. Here are some photos:

This one *might* be a girl, but I don't think so...

This one has blue, silver, maybe mahogany and a bunch of pattern genes

This one has mahogany and mottling...

This one is redder than the photo looks:

The blue partridge must have once again escaped the pen...I'll have to find him and take his photo...

Hey everyone...thought I would ask you here first. #4 chickie pipped this morning on the wrong end of the egg. Tonight it hatched and I am thinking this is the yolk sac that has not absorbed. What do you think?? I am checking all sources to make sure it has a chance. It is peeping and moving. I took it away from mom and put it in a warm towel while my ecoglow heat element warmed up.

]storage, can't afford it. I have a couch and two recliners I have to get rid of. The couch is like new but way to big. the matching recliners are white and need cleaning. I kept the couch covered the whole time I used it. No one has been interested. I will have to call Goodwell to pick it up.

don't know what else to do. Can't use it, can't sell it, one option left. My nephew said I should burn it or send it to the dump it is so ugly.
Put it on Craigslist and it will sell in a flash!
We can really use the couch and maybe the chairs but I have to show my family it first. We live in Wittmann, that is 16 miles north of Surprise. WE close to you ar all?
I just sold it a little after noon 2day.

So sofia decided my pearl earring looked like food.. Wham pecks at my ear while I am trying to check on
Lorine hatching chicks.. Wonder if it will cause damage or get stuck??
I am sure as soon as it is pooped out another hen will think it is food again... Than what??? Round & round...
DO NOT WEAR EARRINGS around chickens ...
So excited about Loraine hatching I feel as though it is a bit crazy fun around here.. Chicken drama continues........

:gig I have heard that I gold jewelry that has gone through a dog comes out as if it had been professionally cleaned by a jeweler. Tell me if it is the same with a chicken? Her gullet, I would think, will do a job of polishing, maybe, maybe not.

Post script: speaking only for my self, I prefer to pay a jeweler to clean and polish. :lau
