The girls had a great time running the yard with the dog while I grilled {chicken boobs} and mushrooms on cherry wood.

We had dinner on the patio, awesome evening.

Man, we wish you were our neighbor!!!

Baby had a rough night so I took her to work with me. She is doing much better now.

Is this the one that had the extra thing on their bottom?? One of our chicks had one of those " whatchamacallit " as well..
This was the egg that took almost 24 hours to hatch..
5 un hatched eggs so far. I am going to wait till tomorrow before throughing them out.. Friday is day 25.. Is that the amount of time
I should wait before tossing??

My chicks aren't ready to move outside quite yet, but I'm getting nervous about them in the heat. They'll have shade and water, but nothing fancy like misters or fans. I hope they can tough it out.

Sorry I'm having a difficult time with posting from my phone on here, thank ya'll so much for making me feel so welcome here. I have two pitbulls that are regularly chased around by my bantam Brahman, two of what I think are black sex links that my wife insisted we rescue from ok feed, and two Easter eggers, hopefully one is a bantam ee. All are pullets we just recently bought from ok feed in Tucson the bantam Brahman we've had for a few years and is so sweet, now all my wife wants is bantams lol. We used to live up in Tucson and had 30 chickens but a coyote got into our yard one night and tore up 20 plus chickens all over my neighborhood, we had a turken that made it with us down to Rio Rico but thena some feral dogs come along and got her one morning before I had let my dogs out, she was one ofmy favorites

Shade, plenty of water, shade, misting system, shade, pan of water for them to stand in, shade.  And its a good idea to make sure they have plenty of shade.

I was trying to find an old post around here where I listed a bunch of hot weather ideas, but I couldn't find it....

Some ideas off the top of my head from that list besides the others already have mentioned:
Ice blocks - freeze old milk jugs, etc. and they can lay next to them
Wet parts of the ground where they can dig down into the cooler earth
Freeze watermelons, etc. and give them to them frozen - they will slowly thaw (or maybe quickly!) as they pick at it

as you can see they have good shade under the tree and ventilation to the side and behind the coop when you say a pan of water do you mean like a small pool cause I think they have that already as you can see the blue thing in the picture
