Well, that was a long day! Some morons in front of us decided to slam on their brakes for a school bus, even though it's stop sign wasn't out. My wife couldn't stop fast enough and rear ended one of them. Fortunately, I'm completely ok with maybe a slightly sore ankle tomorrow. My wife injured her entire left arm from the shoulder down. Sometimes I think the seatbelts do more damage than good. They can save lives, bit they've been the cause of fatalities, too.
The truck, however, is quite likely totalled. Nearly 180k miles, over 12 years old and both airbags deploying, I don't foresee them fixing it.
Night all!

I've seen something like that in the past. In the city it is impossible to keep you breaking distance. That is why I prefer overland driving. There you have opportunity to have really dumb accidents, because of not paying attention do to nothing going on. In the city, all kinds of things are going on, like the guy stopping when there is no reason to stop. I thank God every day I get home.
you said a mouth full there with Phx driving. BUT, try driving in D.C. Half the people can't drive but have diplomatic immunity, a license to drive with no responsibility and fear of reproductions, some of whom believe in class privilege, in other words anyone of a lower class dose not count as a life. yes I am angry..... I am not satisfied that this person had to return home, and can not return to US lands and holdings.
]. On a scale of 1 to 10, I consider myself a 5, and I know I am a better driver 50% of the time then 90% of the people driving. Half the time I drive in the City, I forget to drive defensively, that SCARES me to death.
