Sorry I didn't get back sooner, was installing a transmission in my truck.
In Europe, eggs are commonly not refrigerated at all. If you eat them within a week or so, they'll be fine. I don't really eat a lot of eggs but I do buy them in 18 packs, so I do refrigerate them, might be a while before I finish them.
I had always heard that if you don't wash them, the bloom will protect them and they're fine unrefrigerated, but if washed, they should be refrigerated. I refrigerate mine just because I figure like any fresh biological product, they will keep better kept cool. Also depends on how warm you let your house get.

I'm only good for 1 bag. What's everyone use? Looks like I'll prob get the Big Sky Layer as my girls are approaching 17-18 weeks. I made a mistake with the last batch of feed I bought. I thought the tag said 18% but it said 14% when I looked a few days later.. I've supplemented with other protein sources but they don't seem to be to be meaty/heavy enough. At what age does the breast plate stop being so pronounced?![]()
@Macboat
Still looking for roosters? Ha
What happened to our monsoons and cooler weather? It got up to 102 in the shade by the house today, probably hotter out by the poultry pens. Got two turkey pens cleaned and rearranged some turkeys so I can move the last of my poults, which are still in the garage, outside. Just that little bit of work exhausted me.
