No, I'm not 100% sure, but I didn't notice anything strange with the roots when I pulled the trees out, not that I know what to really look for. I guess what I'm thinking is it looked like a bare root tree, no galls or lumps.100 is too warm. Make sure they have plenty of room to get far away from the heat. They will be happier and healthier if they are not frying.
Kev, are you sure it's not some kind of root rot? That rapid wilting followed by death scenario sounds like the fungal root rots that have killed a bunch of my plants over the years. Just curious...
