A few shots of what I've been doing and who in doing it for.

I meant to ask before what everyone uses for painting the inside of their coops? Ours looks old and ugly and needs a re-do.

We use the non toxic paint..all though I really like the natural wood grain look. I do believe there is a product out there for the natural look as well, that is non toxic..

wow I am so sry.
I know how I felt when my own dog killed 13 of mine. it is really really hard. what breeds did you have? I am hatching chicks, idk how I would get you them but maybe if you want one?

Thanks. I think we're going to wait until winter and place another order with mypetchicken for 6-8 new ones. Assuming I'm ready then to do it all over again.

So sorry, Twinklin. We've all made mistakes. I have with my dogs. I've been lazy and waited until later in the evening to shut up the coop. It's amazing that theyll kill them all and.that none could.get away.

The coyote didn't even take any. It killed them and buried them around the yard. I found them at 6am and the coyote came back looking for them at 6:30. All 8 were accounted for when my bf collected the bodies.

Was River named after River Song from Doctor Who?

Actually a combination of River from Firefly and Joan Rivers, because as a chick she would scream bloody murder when you picked her up so I tried to think of a famous person who was known for being loud. Also she was a blue Orpington and blue = river so it worked.

Hello everyone ^_^ I've been gone for so long! How is everyone? I'm finally moved into my new place that comes complete with about a hundred and eighty pigeons that I can play with and take to shows! And thanks to @cyborg my chickens have been nice and safe! I've got a nice big set up that holds the chickens and my new goats
