Arizona Chickens

gosh! Hmph! ...it seems like dry pox is still spreading through some of my flock. I wish it would just go away, the ones that get it their combs look sad! Well hope your guy gets better soon! One of my guys had seemed to have lost his appetite, but I didn't know if it was because it had gotten so cold..... brrr
we still have it and had wet pox as well I recommend B Complex for any birds not eating.

Our bielefelder rooster is trying to crow. At least i think it is him. correction: our bantam hen "Claire" mot Cheryl, is sitting on 9 eggs.I'll let you guys know what breeds later when I get a chance to look at the eggs again
I love my Bielefelder rooster Sherlock. I will need to get a hen someday. YAY more chicks.

shoot; the trouble with living by myself and so far away. Some day will hopefully have a chicken tender that can take care of things while I"m gone so I can come on Fri and stay till Sun. Pizza rolls sound yummy!

I'm about to finish up chores then start crating up birds; they will sleep in the van tonight because we are leaving by 430 am to get cooped in by 9!

Be safe and see you tomorrow.
Finnaly on my way to the fair grounds! Should be there by 8 at the latest
yay chickens galore!!

I am stuck at work in southern Pinal County, so can't make the potluck tonight. I will be there most of the weekend, so hope to meet some of you there, and put faces to names for those of you I haven't met yet. Reading the last post, I guess I need to leave my wallet at home!

First ten minutes of being at the show, I was putting everyone in there cages and my mom bought a naked neck rooster lol! We named him Jeff Foxworth (because he has a redneck lol)
I think you bought my NN rooster. Red fella, a real marshmallow... that ringing any bells?

Anyway, first night done. My pizza rolls were a smash hit. And we sold our NN rooster to **someone**

Yep, that would be my younger brother Noah! Well, I am so, so glad you got him! I adore the big rooster, called him my "Best Friend" here, but yeah... too big for my girls, and such a laid-back dude that even the hens were pecking at him. You take care of his fluffy butt, ya hear? :highfive:

He'll get nice and spoiled here :D he woke me up at 5:00 this morning which is a lot better than my last roosters 2am lol!
