We always have one or 2 that grow slower, though they seem to catch up around the 2-3 month mark![]()
MY 5 WEEK OLD WYANDOTTE IS A FEATHER PICKER !
She is causing baldness and bleeding on my 6 week old polish.... please help? I have doused the poor polish is bitter yuck spray, and she STILL pecked and ATE the feathers *sobs*. I covered her bleeding pores in Bacatracin, and separated the wyandotte for the night (Their seperated depressed cheeps are very sad, but im ****** that she is pecking my beautiful bird..... :/ )
Is there anything else I can do? I dont think they are going to shut up all night, or at night at all if they are separated, but I cant stand to see my Polish bird bleeding and bald, just when she is starting to get her feathers , they have to be separated.
I know you can have hens but not roosters within Tucson city limits, but does anyone know the chicken/rooster laws outside Tucson city limits? I've been trying to look them up and thus far have found nothing. My favorite "pullet" (the one in the photo) just started crowing...
