I have seen posts for silkies but all of the ones I have seen so far are in the Phoenix area.

I don't think that we have any others from Flagstaff that come here to our state thread.

Yeh I think I may have to find someone to ship them. Which I worry that they will be stressed out or even die.

Have you thought about maybe getting some silkie hatching eggs, and hatching out your own either under a broody hen, or in an incubator?

I haven’t gotten an incubator yet but that’s on my list of things to get. Hahahaha so far none of my chickens haven’t gone broody that I have noticed. I actually didn’t even think of buying eggs. Thanks.

Day 21 and no sign of them hatching. I’m so upset. They were alive 3 days ago. I’ll give them till tomorrow then candle them.

Sorry that they haven't hatched for you yet. Were the eggs from your flock, or from some hatching eggs that you bought?

My flock. I did set the temp a little higher to try a dry hatch and just read that could cause a late hatch.

I have 5 more eggs to put in if I need to.
