@Michelle Guynn has one of the sisters from the same hatch, and her's has started laying.

Actually yes... I just found a thread today that made me laugh bc the poor owner trusted the company wouldn't make a mistake and send a cock so this behaviour is described and they wondered when that behaviour would stop and they would lay an egg.... lol sorry it's just funny to me thinking of marshmellow stopping his behaviour to go lay an egg

That reminded me of this guy I knew years ago that told me that he had 12 hens for a year already and had not gotten even one egg from them. He had been feeding them laying mash and couldn't figure it out that all 12 of his hen's were rooster's! I helped him to straighten out his flock so that he could start getting eggs, and kept only 2 of those roo's.

Yes I have gotten an egg everyday this week. They are a pretty blue/green.

@Michelle Guynn You're still up? I was just over in Tempe visiting some friend's over there, and got back home a while ago. I picked up some more feed tonight too.

I need to get more feed, too, but I can't tell you hope nice it is too have the chicks in the coop where they can use their big feeder, and not the Mason jar feeder! I was having to fill that up twice a day towards the end of them being in the brooder.
