Hubby just unplugged the home phone. We were getting call's about every 15 minutes for the political stuff. It's crazy!

You and me both! Every day I have to put at least 6 political things that come in the mail into our shredder. Yep, a waste of the campaign money! I'm an Independent voter, so I get hammered by all of them. (Like I am too helpless to go online and do my own research on all of them?)

ANyone have experience dealing with a not so friendly neighbor who allows his rooster to roam free? I have come home twice now to see this rooster bothering my girls. Fortunately my girls attack him but seriously!! The first time he said it wasn’t his rooster the second time I didn’t see him. The kids just threw him back over the fence..

His rooster is coming over because it want's to breed with your hens, and he will eventually succeed. Have you talked to your neighbor about it?

Edit: OK I see that you have talked to him and he denied it being his rooster. In that case, I believe that you could either call animal control, or cull the darn roo. The only other way to maybe get rid of that roo, is to get your own roo to run him off.

We have been getting a lot of calls too and texts! UGH the texts! I just delete them and don't answer lol idk how they get my number. I feel bad not answering because it's mostly just kids volunteering but it just feels a bit too invasive to me when they text mt personal cell phone.

I hate politics so I turn off my phone. I'm ready to get rid of it altogether. What the heck is wrong with NOT being connected 24/7/365. I'm sick of it, don't care and don't want to know.

As for the holidays, you guys can have them. I don't celebrate xmas and don't follow any of the beliefs that go with it. It all pretty much disgusts me. We have lights and a tree but that's my husbands doing not mine.
