Oh. Well, I thought it was just getting good, but that is just me.

Well the good news is that the gun show is in 2 weeks! So, one could go to the chicken show and then also the gun show!!

I can't wait to have a chicken we can show. Maybe my Ameraucana rooster will be a shower. One can hope.

Off to Cub Scout family camp. It is going to rain on us. Oh well. A bad day in the woods is better than a good day anywhere else. Right?

Have a great weekend, all.

I think chickens and guns go hand in hand (LOL)

I wonder how many rooster I will end up with. I know I have two so far

I guess we will wait to see who crows ...

Are you talking about the Tucson Poultry, Pigeon and Fancy Fowl club spring show? I know it is on May 9th.

If so, I have the address and information at home. I will post it.

Yes I am but have not decided quite when...soon though. The hatchery called me today and pushed my ameraucana order up so I am really excited I am going to have them this Friday instead of May 13th.
Cinnamon Queens and Buff Orpingtons are my next order.

I wanted to correct this because my hatchery that I use pushed up my orders yet again and as of today I am the proud mommy of 115 ameraucana pullets, 52 cinnamon queen pullets, and 52 buff orpington pullets. So to make a long confusing story short....THE CQs ARE HERE!!!!!

I will post it as soon as I get home today, by 3:30pm. I am a member of the club and I just got the information the other day.

We love our Cinnamon Queens, Vanessa!

They are funny, super layers, and just wonderful peacekeepers around the somewhat more beligerent Blacks and Barreds (they aren't bad, but compared to the CQs they are pushy).

We'll be down today to pick up our pullets.
