unfortunately there are no chicks listed. the reason why I reached out to the group is i know most live in or near phoenix, and I have to go up there on Saturday. Like I said, it was a long shot but only took a moment to ask :) I'll end up making a cage to put it in with the month olds tomorrow so at least it can be near other chicks and see how things are done

Hello AZ :)

Just got back from the afternoon walk with the pups. It's cloudy but not cold, nice for a change. I was actually over dressed with a sweatshirt.

My chicks are growing so fast. I have a dozen and they eat an insane amount of food too. This afternoon when I went to put them away the bigger birds got mad because they wanted THAT feeder :rolleyes:

I'm only getting an egg a day so I had to buy store eggs. Hubs said he's going to BBQ some chicken this weekend as a warning :gig

What's everyone doing for the holidays? We're having the kids and my folks the weekend before so just the 2 of us on Xmas. I'm thinking about a prime rib for dinner but hubs might bbq instead.

I didn't even wear a sweater out there today. Yes, these chick's do grow fast. I got 3 egg's today out of 5 girls that are laying. I'm waiting for 4 more pullet's to give me that first egg yet. Are you going to try out that new bag of seasoning on something soon? You said in the other thread that it smells good!

I know chickens like music, especially Hard Rock music. Maybe DH can hang some Rock posters inside coop. :idunno

Yea, pretty soon. I don't have any chicken in the freezer and I want to try it on that first. Maybe fish if I pick some up this weekend. I am trying to not buy chicken so we'll see.
