What are their requirements? What breed are they? Are they familiar with chickens? Dogs?I have two female ducks for sale in Phoenix. I want them to go to someone who will keep them for eggs and not meat. I am unable to care for them. Their names are Lucy and Midnight.
He built them this perchIt sound's like he's well on the way to becoming a crazy chicken guy! He just doesn't know it yet.![]()
I sent my 3 little dudes to freezer camp the other day. Angus has a very nice crow, not high pitched at all. Is Rodgers that way?Adam's dad's name is Rodger, but he's a NN. I went ahead and culled the cockerel, as I think it's too hot for the girl's to have to put up with more than one roo. The only solution to keeping a roo is to live where you can have one at. Some rooster's can also have a higher pitched crow than other's. I like the lower pitched one's.
Were they the naked necks?I sent my 3 little dudes to freezer camp the other day. Angus has a very nice crow, not high pitched at all. Is Rodgers that way?

He is also huge!Yes, and that is one of the reason's why I picked Roger to remain in the flock, along with his coloring and that he is so nice.
He is also huge! His 2 here are growing fast, too.
That barred naked neck you can almost see him growing. Do you think you could have some sex-linked barring happening? That's what makes a good dual-purpose meat bird that the hen's lay lot's of large sized egg's. That was my first goal.
