Poor dog! It is hot and lonely, people like that should not be allowed to keep any kind of animal.
It's probably barking to be let back in the cool house, and nobody is there to listen.

Yea, the dog is a working dog, security/search dog, brings their family money.. you'd think they'd be more considerate of it. And the barking is because it's so anxious. Barks at every moving thing. German shepherd btw.. cant miss that bark.Poor dog! It is hot and lonely, people like that should not be allowed to keep any kind of animal.
When they are home they lock him out. They LEFT TOWN, put in a doggy door, so the dog is coming in/out at all times of the day and night. Knowing he has a barking problem. It's probably barking to be let back in the cool house, and nobody is there to listen.

They are lazy and dirty.. they are the ones w all the dog poop and urine smells emanating from their property. I can't even imagine what their house looks like. Garages are such a mess, they can't park in them (they try). This is a nice neighborhood and this might be the one instance the HOA is worth it. I haven't been wanting to involve them, but i have tried everything else. They probably don't lock him in because they don't want him pooping and that in the house, and no one is currently there all the time to let him in or out.
My dog Buster is lucky. He only get's let out in this kind of heat long enough to get his job's done, and then he's back in the house laying on one of the air-conditioner vent's. When it's cooler out there, I let him stay out there longer, though.
HOA or no, there is one in every neighborhood! Sadly, those are violations of regular city nuisance ordinances, too. HOA is usually more strict than the city. I hate getting involved in such issues, no good comes from it. I have moved due to such neighbors before. They are lazy and dirty.. they are the ones w all the dog poop and urine smells emanating from their property. They'll be banned from having dogs on their property... i love my house and garden.. and my spoiled chickens love it insideI know how you feel. That is what I thought my Seattle home was. It was not. But, now I am happier here, where chickens are allowed in the yard.
