Arizona Chickens

So is the taste of rooster any different, or are all the store chickens a mix of both sexes? I guess i always assumed they were only hens.
It's not the difference in sex for store chickens that tastes different. It's the home grown part that changes the taste. Store chicken is bland by comparison in my opinion. If a rooster grows old enough the taste can change. I've been told it's the hormones at that point.

Holy cow AZ it's HOT! I was out putting ice chunks in the waterers and fresh hay in the broody nest and was dripping before I made it back inside. I also paid my electric bill today. Talk about a heart attack!
We just had a nice hard thunder shower, and still overcast.:fl Maybe more rain! Dropped 10 degrees, only 85 outside. But the radio is issuing "severe thunderstorm warning" by Camp Verde.

I had to do a bit of driving, then went to the drivethrough... sat for maybeee.. 7 mins. And my truck started overheating!! I guess it wasn't happy sitting and fighting w the ac. Ive never had that happen before, but the outside temp registered 116. I turned off the ac and the engine temp went down, but still, stressful.

Just like going up a mountain, only hotter! The movement of the truck cools the engine with wind through the radiator. Idling and not moving in such heat can catch your engine on fire!🥵

I was actually worried about that!! I was watching the temp gauge rapidly going up! I was only about 3 miles from home, which of course meant suddenly people were confused about how to enter/exit the freeway, which lanes go straight ahead.. of course! It was back to normal before i parked. I REALLY didn't want to have to pull over in the heat

Check those fluids, could be a fan going bad too. That shouldn't happen even on a hot day.
