Yay! We need pictures of the chicks!
Quick question: Ben has a big beautiful comb, and it'll be around 20 degrees tonight. Will he need vaseline on it, or will he be OK?

Panic time! It's going to get down to about 20 degrees tonight, and a friend said my chickens might freeze to death because the coop is not insulated. I put some wood shavings in the nest box area, but in the top part where the perches are, it's wire underneath and the shavings just fall through.
Edited to add: I just put some thick cardboard down and put wood shavings on top. There are two waterers, one on the top where they are at night and one underneath. I took the bottom one out until tomorrow so it won't freeze.
*ALERT*. Cuteness overload coming at you!!!
Great! It look's like you have some variety in coloring there. The cream one with the two black spots is cool looking
