Arizona Chickens

Panic time! It's going to get down to about 20 degrees tonight, and a friend said my chickens might freeze to death because the coop is not insulated. I put some wood shavings in the nest box area, but in the top part where the perches are, it's wire underneath and the shavings just fall through.

Edited to add: I just put some thick cardboard down and put wood shavings on top. There are two waterers, one on the top where they are at night and one underneath. I took the bottom one out until tomorrow so it won't freeze.

I'm not sure how your coop is set up.
