Arizona Chickens

we are getting mostly the wet snow here in spring valley, it is starting to stick though. I'm running low on bedding so will go out there in a bit. Waiting til Wednesday when it'll be above freezing and safe to drive to get more. Got plenty of feed though!

I have plenty of bedding but not as much feed as I'd like, but unless we get 2 feet of snow, we'll be fine.

So many neighbors have golf carts here, they are not retired but young, the kids even drive them around. I really want one, maybe someday.. Lots of rain here the last few days, looking forward to seeing the wildflowers come up.

I looked at Craigslist every once in a while for probably two or three years before I found the right thing at the right time.

We got a dusting of snow last night, just enough to make the ground wet, and the chickens have decided to stay indoors. They got some tuna for a high protein snack in this crummy weather. I don't miss Flagstaff's snow levels.

I got the feed... and an orange tree, apple tree, 2 blue berry bushes, and a peach tree! Anddd.. just got our first fairy egg while we were out!! That is just about the size of my parrot's eggs.

It is. Cheap for insurance and should be cheap to register. Nice for quick trips
