Arizona Chickens

Ok, so that also means that when the goats scream in my ear they are just saying hi not GIVE ME FOOD NOW! :gig
"Waitress! Leave those chickens alone and bring me my food! I want to talk to the management of this place!" Or something like that. Possibly.

People that live in cities have all manner of delusions. I was lucky in that I was raised on farms in the Midwest so when I lived in actual cities like LA, the groupthink echo chambers still couldn’t gaslight me into their psychosis.

I went into a health food store and they had brown eggs for $4.00 a dozen (~1983!) I asked the guy how they could justify $4 a dozen. The clerk must have been from a farm because he chuckled and made a remark about the intellect of his clientele.

You should tell your neighbors you have chickens because they are good for the environment as they provide a source of nitrogen to break down all the boxes that end up in his trash, from Amazon, delivering the environmentally destruction landfill waste he uses.
I have those city people walking past my chickens all the time. One stopped to ask me how I could have all hens and no roosters, while looking right at this guy. I just told him I order all female from the hatchery!;) Don't ask, Don't Tell around here.

As long as he doesn't crow right in front of them, you'll be ok. I mean "why is that girl crowing?" :gig

Almost all the "Chicken" stuff you see, art, plates, show roosters on them. Roosters are so much flashier!

That's true in most cases, but these Aloha girl's are looking pretty flashy too with this type of coloring.

I just got back from a yard sale. I got a finished wooden box on short legs (no cover) that looks like the perfect size for a chick brooder. I also got a plastic motion sensor that looks like a rooster, and gives off a loud, realistic sounding crow when it senses motion. Big Ben is NOT amused, but I sure am. :gig He hasn't quit crowing since I took it outside to try it out.

He probably think's that the "new roo" has eye's on his girl's. :lau
