Counting Chickens B4 They're Hatched
Your jurisdiction would probably come running down there with the lights on their vehicles flashing if you set off every rooster in the neighborhood.

I wonder. When they came about the guy across the street's music, they were pretty reluctant. They told us that they did not think his music was too loud, but they asked him to turn it down. He did while the cops were there, but the next morning @ 6:30 it was loud again. We didn't bother to call it in again. Our guest house is closer to the street and his music than our house, and we want good reviews from our Air BnB visitors.Your jurisdiction would probably come running down there with the lights on their vehicles flashing if you set off every rooster in the neighborhood.

Whoa! I only paid a quarter for it, and the bag is marked $1.
I could just have it on my porch, and show it to the officers if they come about a rooster noise. I would rather find it for a quarter or $1, though!Whoa! I only paid a quarter for it, and the bag is marked $1.
I have a 1200 watt PA system with built in amplified speakers, basically 6-15” speakers. That doesn’t include the 12” monitors and my 300 watt guitar amp powering 8-12” speakers and various 15-300 watt bass amps and various guitar ampsI wonder. I know, I told my husband to just play his music louder! Obviously loud music is OK here. Them complaining now will just be retaliation any way you look at it.I have a 1200 watt PA system with built in amplified speakers, basically 6-15” speakers. It would be nothing to drown out the encroaching mariachi, C&W, hip hop, or new wave fodder that encroaches over my fence. But guess who the police would cite for “disturbing the peace”?
If only my neighbors liked Metal...
As long as he doesn't crow right in front of them, you'll be ok. I mean "why is that girl crowing?"![]()
If Randy Roo is nicer than my Buddy Roo I might trade you and Buddy can go to the cooker! Is Randy a sandhill or from TN? Buddy is headed for the cooker anyway at some point along with a couple other TN Barred Holland Roos that I still have in a sequestered location.I know, I am keeping him to get more Barred Hollands. My neighbor has his hatch mate as a back up! The other 2 were here before I got my chickens, one reason I wanted to move here was the crowing I could hear when we were checking this place out! All of our neighbors are cool with the chickens and him, too. But, since we are having trouble with the guy across the street, I am ready to put Randy Roo in the cooker if I have to. @CaroleW has more of his brothers and sisters and will give me eggs to hatch. Making a plan for a Barred Holland hatch pretty soon with some of her eggs!I am all out of cockerels in my freezer, and there are at least 4-5 ducklings soon, but they will not last long after I give one each to my neighbors.
not that you could do anything, but almost sounds like the officers who responded were friends with the neighbor.I wonder.
