Arizona Chickens

I think only one egg has a chance to hatch - or maybe not - I just candled and took most of them out of incubator since quit or clear eggs. Not sure if my incubator is turning all in one direction and twisted off the chalaza or what. I have a tilt turner coming on Tuesday for my homemade incubator so will try that along with new eggs in this incubator. I left the one egg in there in case it might hatch but I couldn't really see it move ever.

You'll be able to put some egg's in there from out of the NN hen's this time, since they will have been with Roger long enough. :thumbsup

No peeping from the eggs under Mari. :( How long do you usually go past the due date before removing them from under a hen? I don't want to remove them too early. Thanks.

Sherwin Willaims finally got another gallon of the base I needed to finish painting the new coop. I painted all day yesterday and was almost finished when the sand started blowing and blowing all over the wet paint! Textured paint job, anyone? *sigh*

They say that egg's can take up to 3 day's past due date to hatch, and if they haven't by then, then pitch them. Didn't you say that the other hen was laying egg's in the nest too before?

Yes, she will sit partway on top of Mari and lay an egg that way instead of using the other, identical nest.
