Those guys are fast!

Like I said, I'm watching him still, the girl's seem to like him. If he doesn't work out I have a couple of cockerel's that I'm still growing out, at least I'm positive that one of the little red NN/Aloha mixes is a male, and that the other one is a female. One of the 3 Lakeshore Egger's might possibly be a boy also.

Sadly one of the nice Red Dorking cockerels has a cross beak, he is getting processed next Tuesday. Not breeder material. He sure seems to chow down the pellets, he is a good size. That leaves one keeper male Dorking out of 3. The other has the wrong color to be a Red. Nice boy, the largest.

He has gold instead of red on his neck hackles. He might be a different color that is acceptable to the Dorking breeders, but there is one nice Red boy that I want to keep.

Here are a couple I just went and took. He is a good boy, just standing there while I take photos. Very calm. Nice big Dorking feet with 5 toes. He is going to be a big boy when he grows up. Hatched 5/4/21. The last one is with his Red hatch mates.

I wonder what chick's would look like with him bred to this NN/Aloha mixed pullet that I'm growing out? I don't want to be breeding her to her brother later on, just in case this new rooster end's up not working out or I need new gene's.

He is grey underneath, and has some red feathers on his back, a little splotchy, might be interesting mixed with an Aloha NN?!
