No, it's a long story (read here) but my original group of 5 ended up with 2 roosters, so we got more and ended up with another rooster, so we got more and they are all, hopefully pullets, so far. I've called around and no one is taking roosters, and the ones that will take my latest cockerel will cull so I'm keeping them all. I'm too attached . Mind you, this all started by me trying to make one little rescue chick happy... now I'm knee deep in chickens!!

No, because now you will multiply your flock by buying more in hopes of getting more girl's since you intend to keep all of your rooster's .

Well... my new coop & run combo is big enough for up to 20 chickens (comfortably) so...

Omgosh that happened to me! We had our family dog attack our chicks and one survived. That single one we got others for and ended up with almost all boys! I gave as many away as I could and kept one until he bit my daughter in the face. After that we ate him.

Now I am trying to start a nice flock of bigger babies with the help of @BlueBaby and I am going to start a bantam flock for my daughter with the help of @ChicksnMore
