I don't have horses,, but occasionally purchase alfalfa pellets for my chickens during winter. Pellets,,, not cubes. but the botulism can come from both forms.

It look's like I have a pip in the shell of one of the Bielefelder egg's in the incubator. After this batch hatches, I'm taking a break.

And it's a boy. It's out of the shell now.

Glad you posted this. My horse mainly eats hay but I buy pellets and cubes for treats. Had to go check and make sure it wasn't what I have at the moment.

Maybe @ChicksnMore will let you get that Dun Aloha hen from her?

@CaroleW if you want her, she's yours She's not quite a year old and lays huge eggs. Shes a beautiful girl.
