mahalo~ Congrats on the chickies
It has been quite an exciting and stressful time around here. Thank goodness all the chickens are good. Yesterday morning Mark (hubby) got his hand sucked into a 28 ton log splitter and needless to say fingers and 28 ton log splitters don't get along very well. 37 sutures, antibiotics, tetnus shot, and pain meds were on the menu yesterday. David (son) went to the dentist today. We got 1 filling, 4 sealants, and a stainless steel crown. So today the menu has two very irritated family members. I escaped to the turkey pen for a bit. The girls always seem to make things better for me. I wish I could only care about what part of the sky the next piece of bread is going to fall out of. All in all I suppose I should count my blessings. This could have been a whole lot worse for Mark. He could have lost his whole arm or hand. David will be fine too. Heck he went on my daily walk with me so he must not be too uncomfortable.
I hope everyone else is doing good and enjoying the great weather.
