I can't believe it rained all night again. I desperately wanted to have my coop finished before DH got home from Haiti but this Seattle weather is killing me! Just when it had finally dried up from last weekend, my yard is sloshy again!!

Whatever, I'm still on my I-finally-got-2-eggs-yesterday high, and Steve gets in tonight at 1157 so I don't have to let the dog sleep with me anymore!! She has been so sad with him gone that she had been sleeping at the bedroom door waiting for him to come home. She's so sweet.

It rained? I guess it explains why the kids were coughing...it seems like they get a cough any time the weather changes.

The only pitter-patter I heard last night was the baby kicking me in the head. Both climbed into bed last night. With the DH, the DS, and the DBaby all snorring, coughing, and making other night man-noises I feel a little wrecked. I (gasp!) put on makeup and curled my hair--in hopes it will recduce the "zombie with job" look I have going on. I don't want to scare Carol & Sommer today!

Mahroni- I put out the started tomatoes & peppers yesterday. I have a bunch of little fish tanks I use as "mini greenhouses", since it is still freezing at my house. There were more plants than tanks, so I ended up digging in the recycle bin for plastic bottles. I found a few margarita and tequila bottles, cut off the bottoms, and stuck them in the ground. The plastic is clear & thick, and the bottles are tall, so it should work well. It looks funny too... Tomatoes & peppers, next to the cilantro, all under liquor bottles: my very own margarita & salsa bar!
