Well, my CL post for "adopting unwanted chicks" is up. I am pretty sure it is illegal in Phoenix to sell colored chicks in Phoenix (which usually end up being meaties, right?) But I know that law is NOT in the books of the other cities.

I have a quarantine pen (mostly) set up. I'll keep you all posted if I end up with pullets needing homes. If I am REALLY lucky, I won't get any hits. I pray folks are responsible about this season.

I am REALLY hoping no one replies. I want people to be smart about buying pets.

My husband fixed me my favorite breakfast (Biscuits and Gravy). Then I just hung around taking pictures of chickens, then my husband made a very yummy Italian Dinner (Shrimp Linguine/Garlic Bread/Salad) Yum! Then we had CaKe!!! It was a good day. I feel a year older now

Maybe this time the eggs will make it and hatch. Now just need to go get some fertile eggs from the neighbor.

Will be taking updated pics of my Aloha's. They are finally in with the BiG Chickens. They are hating it of course, oh well. They will survive

Had to clip nine sets of little wings so that they would quit flying out of our makeshift pen, until we get the coop done. those little buggers can fly! And they run super fast too

Anyway, sorry for the long chat

SILIKIES - is $10 each the going rate for silkie chiks?

BEDROOM SET - Yippee! Congrat's Larree.

ALOHA CHICKENS - looking good you guys.

SOCK - loved the long report. Those are very good looking birds. Are they standard or bantam? Was it your birthday yesterday? Happy birthday! Sounds like it was terrific and that your hubby is a keeper for sure!

UNWANTED CHICKS - this should be interesting.
