So sorry.

Laree - How about a grumpy hen fountain by the goblin sculpturess? Get your own tools...you know, ones he cant touch. Paint flowers on them....pink ones.

If only you could see my DH's garage!! You would thank your lucky stars for your DH's quirk. I would cherish that quirk!! But alas, my love is a super-slob. We have two or three or four of many things- If you can't find it, buy a new one...

Haha! I think that is virtually universal! At my place, it isn't just one tool box no one is allowed to touch...it's 2,000 sq. ft. of tools and fun stuff! My flathead screwdriver that I'm allowed to touch was put in "my" little itty bitty tool box because it has a chip in the edge. The philliips, the criss-cross is stripped so it doesn't grip a thing. My claw hammer? Missing one claw. I'm not the one who damaged those tools. I don't know who did. Probably little boys. And yes, the tool chests all have that rubber liner like shelf liner stuff, tools are organized by type, size, metric or Good Ol' American, brand, etc.

I bought DH one of those great tool boxes with the liner. AND a whole bunch of garage cabinets. He is working on cleaning it up right now, but until recently, most of the cabinets were empty, their contents spilled out and all over the garage and the tools burried on his bench or in various carrying cases.

Some of his favorite tools - My kitchen shears, our steak knives, or DS's pocket knife. Now they are lost out there. Hopefully they will be found in the clean up. Hoping this one will last... He is trying!

Well today is another great day despite a few bumps. I did lose one of my REALLY old buff orpingtons this morning. She was a nice girl and had a happy life. No illness she just passed on so I am not upset. Yesterday the lady came and picked up her Marans and dropped off some really cute chicks, feed, and more bedding. Buff orpingtons, light brahmas, buff minorcas(sp?), black minorcas, and red sex links. I also got the pleasure of meeting a new person to the chicken world and had a very delightful visit with them.

Sorry for your loss Joel.

Laree can't wait to see if you get the roo.

Sock ~ OMG a grumpy hen fountain would just be beyond awesome.

GCK ~ Grats on your little dove chicks.

Everyone else out there ~

I think the thing is that all men want tools like that and usually start out like other were describing (a total chaotic mess) when a guy finaly acheives tool nirvina you just cant mess with that. It is a major accomplishment that all other men respect to the Nth degree. Does that make sense?

Shaun
