Arizona Chickens

I've seen photos on the internet, but today I got my own GIANT egg! Poor Fergie!

I still don't know for sure who lays the one on the far right. I suspect it's the Aloha pullet, but I can't prove it.

Maybe I can have a one-egg omelet tomorrow and be sufficiently fed!

We've had quite a few like that in the month that ours have been laying. They have all been double-yolkers.

Joel- I hate to ask-- but do you have a good pic of your art?

the board along the ground is that recycled composite they use for decking. There are two entrances, since the far part wil eventually be partioned off for a winter garden.

The hardware cloth goes into the ground and uot 12 inces or so.

If you look, there is a gate near the wall. That part will be partitioned off for a winter garden. LOOK! Built in pea trellises!

Very nice looking run...that will make for happy chickens

That's looking great! The wife and I looked at a property today that might need some of that kind of handy work.

I'll see what pics of the ink I can come up with, I assume that is the art you speak of.

ok question. Totally Left field question but I am curious... (maybe a heated question lol) which smaller incubators are better the hovabator or the brinsea ? Or is there another one out there you recommend more?

Just curious.
