Arizona Chickens

I have no idea if this shooter was even political, but he was obviously crazy. People that are truly political want to make a change, and violence never accomplishes that. I am certainly right of center. In fact, I'm right of right. I LOVED Jesse Kelly and was really sad when Giffords was reelected. In fact, I met him at a Tea Party rally. That's right, I'm that bad. Not a fan of Palin, though. Anyway, all of this to say that I am heartbroken at what happened today. It is just heartbreaking and I am praying for her and all of those involved. I am praying for a miracle. I pray that she is able to recover 100%, and live to give God the glory.

CrazyerThanAverage--I'm so sorry about your chickens. I hope you were able to find some meds. I don't know much about chicken illness. What is going on with them?

I'm in Casa Grande, probably a bit of a drive for you. Powells had another box while I was there last week ($29) If you can't find what you need, I have a LA-200 and if you need to, you can draw up some in a syringe. I have a few new syringes in the fridge too. Send me an email if you need to stop by.

Mahonri - I must have seen the same program as Gallo did... they interviewed Jared Lee Loughner's friends. It was on CNN.

From what his friends said he was a Sarah Palin fan.

I also saw the tweets by Caiti Parker, "As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy." and "He was a political radical & met Giffords once before in '07, asked her a question & he told me she was "stupid & unintelligent"" and " ...As I've stated before, I hadn't seen him in 3 years."

Here's her twitter feed http://twitter.com/caitieparker

Hrm
... everything is getting confusing. Maybe I'm just tired!

Maybe he was anti-EVERYTHING (he made it clear that he hates the government) and just happened to like Palin.

Good morning? UGH! I still haven't gone to bed yet. There is just too much work to complete in daylight hours. If I go to bed now, I can probably get 2 1/2 to 3 hours before it is time to get up and go again. I am wondering if I should even bother.

I actually just got up to go to chapel worth my father. I'll probably hit the bunker as soon as we get back.

I used to have insomnia. It was terrible. Turns out it was a lack of vitimans.

Going to church is why I have to be up in a couple of hours. I really don't have insomnia. I just have a lot of work to do. I work part time and homeschool my 5 kids. For me to get work done for my job, sometimes I have to give up sleep. I miss it, but haven't been well rested in years anyway.

I just realized that the rooster isn't crowing. Hmmmmm.... Maybe I just can't hear him over the dishwasher.

Nothing's wrong with public school. Well, except the anti-God (even to the point of hiding scientific fact) curriculum, teachers that don't love my kids like I do, kids that bully, pregnant 6th graders, having to give up some parental rights, hours and hours of homework taking the place of family time, etc. But that's all.

I know people think I'm crazy, but I love my kids and want to spend time with them. Everywhere I go I get complimented on their behavior. I know it's because of homeschooling. It forces us to work through behavioral issues since we have to be together all the time, and it makes my kids best friends. Plus, part of school is animal care. They do almost ALL the work, and I just get to enjoy the critters.

When I first read that last part, I thought it said, "I give you lots of poop." I need a nap.
