Arizona Chickens

I've had chickens for a year now, and a couple weeks ago I got an itch to hatch something. So I got this cheap little dome bator like they used in classrooms when I was a kid, and I want to try it out. Does anyone on here have a mutt egg or 2 I could try out? I don't want to waste something nice on an experiment in case it all goes pear shaped. If it works out, I will try something nice next. I live in Queen Creek at Sossaman and QC roads and work in Mesa across the street from EVIT.

ETA: I would give quail a go, too, if anyone close has them.

Cluckin - I have a handful of chicken eggs (or quail) you are welcome to have. They are pure breed but you'd probably just get one of each breed. Most of mine aren't laying well. I have a Phoenix egg, Houdan, Spitzhauben and a Silkie egg. I think there are two more Houdan eggs in the coop. We might be coming to the Valley tomorrow, if so I could bring them up for you. No charge.

Cluckin, I'm in Wittmann and have eggs as well. Definitely NOT purebred, and probably only 75% fertile, just guessing. NoSkiveez is probably closer to QC than I am.

I have a mcmurray order coming Monday. I have some Salmon Faverolles and white face black Spanish coming in. Since I've ordered them, I found someone to do an egg swap with. I'm very excited about that.
