I was checking back to our posts last week about the meal worms. I picked mine up yesterday and I wanted to make sure to check back on the posts and get as much info as possible. Additionally I went to a few other sites and found this...

Mealworm Cookies

Ingredients:
550 ml (1-1/4 cups?) all-purpose flour
5 ml (1 tsp.) baking soda
5 ml (1 tsp.) salt
250 ml (1 cup) softened butter
175 ml (3/4 cup) white sugar
125 ml (1/2 cup) crumbled dried mealworms
175 ml (3/4 cup) firmly packed brown sugar
5 ml (1 tsp.) vanilla
2 eggs
360 grams (1-1/2 cups) chocolate chips

Place the cleaned and prepared insects on a cookie sheet and dry in the oven for 1 -2 hours at 100°C (200°F). Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, cream butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir in eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and mealworms. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet, and bake 8- 10 minutes.

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to make them for DH and DC or for the chickens..

NoSkiveez, I will be praying that you will find an answer to your health issues, I didn't realize you were still not up to par..

I'm so glad that some people find my retarded humor funny. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one

I LOVE your RETARDED humor!

Heather that is a tough call sometimes they can take up to 24 hours to finish/ and sometimes they just dont make it. Helping is a personal choice. some people dont help & some do. I am one of those that does, but only if I can see if they are shrinkwrapped or not.

mahalo is right... you give them at least 8 hours pipped before you attempt to help. Sometimes they won't make it and that is natures way.

I've been occupied and I have some catching up to do.

You will understand
My mother is in town this week
"The mealworms feed hens?"

I have a lot of explaining to do...

I'm having some health issues and it's been a bit of a mystery. I'm going for more testing to see if they can figure it out. Hopefully they will get it figured out so I can get on a path to feeling better.

Downsizing will make it easier to manage with all this fatigue.

I hope they find out what it is soon, and are able to get you feeling better fast!!!
