Quick insight into laree's chicken obsession: I spent and hour at my dad's helping his landscaper dig out the dandelions, so I could take them home to the chickens.

Gardener also gave me a medium sized-bag of clean grass clippings.

Yup. I am officially crazy.

We also let some dandelions grow for both the chickens and the tortoises

I take the double stroller, two home depot buckets, the hedge clippers, and cut weeds from the abandoned houses in the neighborhoods.


People think it is my job.

What is wrong with your chooks??? Did they get overheated in the booder??? If LareePQG doesn't want them, I'll come get them

I have chickens AND tortoises addicted to them, don't think my yard can keep up!

I have tortoises too and they have a lot less to eat now that we have chickens.
Anybody have a mulberry tree? They love the leaves.
