Yea! See you there, see you then.

I'll let you know later, depends on how hatch is going ... or how long hatch is going!

I have done so well on my hatch so far. I was expecting 50%. My eggs from KS are 8 for 14 right now. Lost one early on, one died after pipping and there is two doing nothing and two are pipping. On my own breed I'm 6 for 8 so far with two of them just starting to pip, I think I put them in three days later.

. I ordered more eggs thinking my first time I was going to be a huge failure.

I just picked up a 50 gallon rubbermaid myself. I'm thinking of cutting a very large rectangular window piece out of the lid (maybe 4-6" from the sides) and smaller ones on the sides, and gluing 1/4" hardware cloth over the windows.

Anyone have recommendations for non-toxic adhesive?

Thanks,

Bryan

I think I would either drill a bunch of little holes, or melt them holding a hot nail in a pair of plyers.......then use some fine wire and sew or wire the hardware cloth in place. Or just bolt it in place with some big washers to hold the wire. Not sure how well glue would hold??

Easier yet would be to make the holes and just use a bunch of small zip ties.
