Arizona Chickens

Greetings!

I have EE that lays beautiful green eggs, I am looking to rehome her as she is very noisy and I live in an HOA neighborhood and fear complaints from my neighbors.
If someone off this board would like her please PM me.
I am in Gilbert.

update.....She has been re-homed.

Are they getting off the nest at all?? I had to boot them off a couple of times a day to eat/drink....very dedicated broodies! I do miss their little 'conversations'

BTW,

Is anyone looking for a white frizzle pair (bantams)?

We have a white frizzle roo that has been at a roo 'foster home' of sorts for a couple of months, and he just keeps getting his butt kicked (feathers yanked out) by the other boys. He's not really ours anymore, but I think the 'foster mom' would like to find him a home where she doesn't worry about his basic safety. All of the boys originally came from our place, and are kept with no other chickens.

We also have a white frizzle hen that we'd be willing to part with if someone would be interested in a white frizzle pair potentially.....

please PM me if you're interested!

They aren't setting yet. I don't think they like our redneck nesting box. It's an old window box planter with a board to separate it. And it is just on top of cinder blocks. I am sure they aren't used to the Econolodge.

The good news is that they are not so skittish already. YAY!! The bad news is that they are scared to death of my dog. The other chickens don't even look at her, but the Japanese girls scream and fly up. It scares me every time. Either they will get used to her since she follows me everywhere, or I will get used to them freaking out. I hope it is the former.

Well, the 3 big ones I was going to leave in the pots, but I think that blight survives in soil... so that means that it actually CAME from the nursery... they haven't been in or even ON my dirt since I got them. I will take the whole plant down there tomorrow & see what they say.
