I don't have time to read through 30+ pages to see if anything was determined--is there a coffee date and location? Someone send me an email if there is. I'm heading back to the fair for the smallstock auction, which I understand will last until late tonight. But I will have time to check emails...eiter tonight or tomorrow before I head out.
Somebody email her, okay? I don't have outlook on this conputer! Her PM box is full! Sonoran Silkies, it's 8AM, Coffee Rush SE Corner of Baseline and Gilbert Rd. See you there!

I have 2 coops built by Kyle - he is terrific! He asks all the right questions and will work with you if you want to make changes/additions etc.
The only thing I didn't like about my Kyle Coop is that he used chipboard, and it's flaking apart and warping already despite the 2 coats of exterior paint I used.
We had the same problem with our Kyle Coop. The roof was warping after just one rain. Also with the chipboard, lots of rain came through the back wall. So we had to re-nail sections down and then we put shingle paper down and shingles and painted the sides with exterior paint (even though I paid for it to be painted). Now it is all good, water tight, no more warping. Still it's a great coop, just wish he had not used chipboard.

Congratulations! Prepare to lose the whole weekend watching the chickens
. When they take their dust baths they are sooooo cute! They will probably love blueberries, spinach leaves, and mealworms if you need treats to entice them to get to know you better. Enjoy!

Yeah I spent awhile sitting out there watching them. We tossed them some cauliflower but they haven't touched it yet. Still getting used to things I guess. The BR is hanging out in the nest box and the other two are on roost fighting over the same spot.....not that there isn't another 4' available to sit on. Our cats barely moved from the window staring at them. Could be fun!
