Arizona Chickens

I am devastated, over a dozen of my chicks have been killed and disappeared.

We only found one body, my little porcelain D'uccle, am missing, several light brahmas, my only barred cochin, an EE, 2 mille fleur d'uccles. my black copper Maran, ond others. Almost half my flock. The little body we found was not ripped up but had blood coming out of it's nose. This happened in broad daylight inside the coop. I think it was the ravens. There was one place where they could get in. What can I do? My heart is broken!!! It is like they went poof and disappeared.

They were almost fully feathered. We found the survivors hiding quietly behind the nest boxes. My silkies (my favorites) were ok. I just can't believe it!

We had hung cd's and all kind of flashing and ribbons to scare them away. Hubby is working 12 hour days and is not around to help me fix things.

OK, help me out. Does anyone know why I can't upload photos to BYC directly from my IPhone? Is this a sign that I am too addicted to this this site? Buys an IPhone and uses it first to take pictures of his chickens to post on BYC? Of corse none of you would find that odd right?

What you CAN do: if you have some smaller gauge needles, that would be great. All I have are the big ones from Jeffer's and one botox needle my neighbor brought me (I like how tiny they are).

I only need the one tip for my chickies, but if you want to poke each chick with a new tip, we'll need more.

I'll look to see if I have some small guage needles at work. I did last time I looked but chair side is constantly cleaning and moving things...
