They're really expensive when they are new too.

It's so awesome though, the temp stays within 1/2 degree at all times, and the humidity just needs one sandwich size tupperware filled with water and one sponge or washcloth and it stays good all of the time too.

Wish! No DH won't go for that. We were talking about our next house yesterday. He wants 4 bedrooms and room for a boat and I want 4 coops and a huge garden. Houston, we have a problem...

A friend in Tucson has a house with two garages. One is an oversized 3 car garage and is attached to the house. The other is an oversized 4 car garage (2x2 bays) and is perpendicular to the attached garage. The back half of the unattached garage has been converted into coops, but the birds often overflow into pens in the front half. Nevertheless, there would be room to park a boat if they had one. Anyways, in the back half they have built pens on either side of a central walkway, and most have a pet door leading outside to a chain-link pen that covers most of three sides of the garage. Very nice setup, but dusty--well, chickens ARE dusty.

I have a neighbor with about a half acre garden.

Thanks!! I will try to order some of that. I have some AC vinegar I can put in there now.

I put some in their water a few days ago.

That'll be a relief. I just checked the LG and temp had spiked to 104. I'll take some time off while I fix it up.

Got the first layer of wire finished around noon. I should be getting more done... but it's 102 out. Forget that noise.

i am going to sell some of my turkeys and the ones that i do not sell
will become dinner to have room for the chicks its a hard decision
to make if anyone is interested in any please let me know
