I have a broody GLW who has been sitting for 4 weeks on her plastic easter eggs. I want to get her a few chicks to raise. Have to wait until the 3 little ones integrate with the big girls. I just love chicken math. I think they are keepers. You can always come and visit her.

This is the main coop, the Cluck On Inn, for the established gals. The Lil Chick Inn is for the new girls until they are ready to join the big girls.

Stay cool this week everyone. We should have record highs for the next FOUR DAYS... all over 113. I'll be letting the Icelandics out to free range, hoping they can stay cooler that way... the big coop has the AC so they'll be spending time in there... the marans have the most shade so hopefully they'll be OK as I change out the water there three times a day.
