Arizona Chickens

Mclevinson - RE the neighbor thingy... Well, there just so happens to be a great house for sale across the street from me, priced low, in good shape, I know the owners, nice updates...AND CHICKEN FRIENDLY, NO HOA!!! Yes, chickens are legal here (even with zoning), up to 24 hens (no roos)! Come on down, we would love to have you! Middle of the city, short commutes...all the fun southern AZ BYC-ers at your doorstep...what are you waiting for?

RE Moringa seeds, please add T-ball Chicky to my offer to pay for the seeds. So, if you have them, it would be Gallo (1st-up), T-ballChicky, then me, but I'll cover the seeds and shipping for all to Tucson (it is my turn).

What do the totes look like? I always just used a water heater box.
BTW, anyone have a water heater box available? The screen I put over the brooder to keep the dust in fits a water heater box because that's what I had available the first time I got chicks.

I found a bunch of recipes, pm me your email so I can forward them. Jam, pie filling, applesauce and apple butter. I have a big pan we can use for the canning.

Just curious, what do you use the moringa seeds for?

Food. Very nutritious stuff. And you can eat both the leaves and the bean pods. Or make tea. Grows fast, loves the heat, and low water once established. In some places the grow it like a shrub and harvest stalks for market. Hawaii, I think.
